Taidesalonki Piirto

The Art Salon/Art Gallery has two floors and is comprised of the permanent exhibition of Tapani Piirto´s works and monthly changing temporary exhibitions of visiting artists – both Finnish and foreign.

The oil paintings of Tapani Piirto are inspired by music. He paints woman and child portraits with calm and quiet atmosphere. There are also pictures with lively movement– you can almost hear a melancholy tango or cheerful waltz played in the background. The colours, figures, light and shadows are in perfect harmony radiating positive energy.
