Artek was founded in 1935 to promote new, modern housing culture. Today Artek is still guided by the same ideology. Artek’s product portfolio builds on the lifetime work of Alvar Aalto and Ilmari Tapiovaara on the field of furniture design as well as Artek Studio’s ambitious and sustainable product development.
